Thunderegg Crystal Mine

At Thunderbird Park you can try your hand at fossicking for thundereggs the 200-million-year-old geological “eggs” hidden inside volcanic rock. You’ll dig, sift, and crack open your finds, then choose to keep or cut them open at the onsite Rock Shop to reveal crystals, agate, quartz or surprises within.

Golf

Tamborine Mountain Golf Club is perched about 500 m above sea level, offering panoramic views over the Gold Coast and Stradbroke Island. 

 

The course is a 9-hole layout with 18 tees that blends challenge and playability ideal for golfers of all levels.

Hot Air Balloon

Paragliding

Feel the thrill of tandem paragliding from high launch points near Tamborine Mountain glide over rainforest and coastal vistas with a qualified pilot. Flights typically last 8–10 minutes for standard tandem experiences, or up to ~25 minutes for soaring flights when conditions allow.


Paratech is based in Canungra (Gold Coast Hinterland) and operates at Tamborine Mountain launch sites, making it accessible from Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
